Sian got the makeup bug when she was just a child during visits to her father’s various makeup rooms in the likes of Pinewood and Shepperton Studios in England.
She decided she wanted to do makeup when she was just 6 years old, contacting the BBC at 10 to find out the requirements needed to get on their makeup course. By the time she was old enough to apply to the BBC, they had stopped their training school(!), so she opted for another route. She studied Fine Art and Photography at art school and later Makeup and Hair Dressing at The London College of Fashion, all the while taking extra evening classes and working in various theatres to get more makeup experience. Sian's first paid job was making corpses for Granada TV's 'Prime Suspect 1'(Starring Academy Award winning Dame Helen Mirren) . 1998 saw her design her first feature film, called 'Everybody Loves Sunshine'.
